PURPOSE:To make small the amount of soil to be discharged by erecting a hollow tubular foundation pile into a cylindrical pit formed by penetrating a hollow cylindrical shaft with a screw for discharging soil while being turned. CONSTITUTION:When a hollow cylindrical shaft 1 attached to an earth auger is penetrated into the ground while being turned by a driver, a cutter 2 is turned around a horizontal shaft 4, the ground is excavated by an excavating blade 3, and the excavated soil is discharged upwards by a screw 6 to form a cylindrical pit (a). A hollow tubular foundation pile (b), e.g., steel tubular pile, etc., is erected into the pit (a). Since the hollow of the foundation pile (b) is filled with undisturbed soil, the foundation having sufficiently high strength can be obtained without the needs for refilling the hollow and filling operation of grout mortar, etc. |
