PURPOSE:To efficiently dispose a lining material with neither elongation nor breakage in a pipe and make it possible to perform the predetermined lining operation after the disposition of the lining material without trouble by a method wherein a tubular lining material, which is made of uncured synthetic resin, is inserted in the pipe under the state being floated on the water. CONSTITUTION:A dam 3 is arranged in a sewer pipe 1. The water is poured by overflowing the dam 3 with the water charged on the upstream side of the dam 3 at all times or by overflowing the dam 3 with sewage. Under the state as mentioned above, the air is supplied through an air supplying hose 6 to a lining material 2 so as to inflate the lining material 2, the tip part of which is floated on the water W poured in the sewer pipe 2. Thus, the lining material 2 is easily inserted in the sewer pipe 1 by means of water flow while being afloat on the water W. The insertion of the lining material 2 afloat on the water produces no frictional force. In addition, irregularities or foreign matters, even if existing in the pipe, are easily cleared by the lining material 2. After that, the lining material 2 is cured by being irradiated with ultraviolet rays by means of an ultraviolet ray irradiating device which has been disposed in a box in advance and is run in the lining material 2. |
