PURPOSE:To enable a ribbon to be fed smoothly and stably, by inclining the center axis of a rotating driving element in a predetermined direction at a predetermined angle to a base surface so that a ribbon-feeding roller provided in an ink ribbon cassette is coaxially connected to the rotating driving element which is disposed on the base surface. CONSTITUTION:An ink ribbon cassette 10 is set to a printer in the state of being inclined at a predetermined angle theta to the horizontal. The angle theta of inclination is set in conformity to the feeding direction of an ink ribbon A relative to the arranging direction of printing pins, so that the center axis L1 of a ribbon-feeding roller 11 is inclined at the angle theta to the horizontal. On the other hand, a rotating driving element 21 is fitted on a frame base 20 with the center axis L2 thereof inclined at the angle theta. The angle and direction of the inclination of the center axis L2 of the element 21 coincide respectively with the angle and direction of the inclination of the center axis L1 of the roller 11. Accordingly, though the cassette 10 is set in position in the state of being inclined relative to the horizontal base surface, the center axis L1 of the ribbon-feeding roller 11 is made to coincide coaxially with the center axis L2 of the driving element 21.
