PURPOSE:To improve the time setting accuracy by forming the 1st current source connected to a capacitor and the 2nd current source connected to a resistor in a way that their current quantity is proportional thereby increasing the degree of freedom of selection for the setting of a prescribed time signal. CONSTITUTION:A current l1 of a constant current circuit 11 and a current m/l.I of a switch 12 or a capacitor 13 are proportional and also in proportion to a supply current n/l.I to a resistor 14. In turning off a switch 12, a terminal voltage of a capacitor 13 and a terminal voltage of the resistor 14 are given to a comparator as a couple of inputs, and in selecting the terminal voltage of the resistor 14 as, e.g., a reference voltage VR, an inverted output is produced at VR<VC, where VC is the terminal voltage of the capacitor 13. Thus, the degree of freedom of selection for the setting of a prescribed time signal is increased and the time setting accuracy is improved.
