PURPOSE:To realize the low cost and the facilitation of a wiring work by using a data line between the telephone set of a telephone system and an exchange and transmitting the detecting data by a time division. CONSTITUTION:The detecting signal detected by a sensor 6, after it is converted to digital data, is held at a latch circuit (not shown in the figure) in a telephone set 3-1. On the other hand, a controller 5 reads latch data through a bus 100 and an interface 2-1 for a telephone set. When the data are the data to be sent to a control equipment 22, the controller 5 sends the data through an interface 21 to the control equipment 22. The controller 5 controls a cross point 1 and also executes the data transmission processing concerning to an usual telephone set. Thus, it is not necessary to provide an exclusive-use cable between the control equipment 22 and a sensor 6, and the low cost can be realized. The changing of the arrangement of the sensor 6 can be easily facilitated.
