PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of height of a headrest by urging a head rest downward by a spring and upwardly moving said headrest against the spring by a bellows which uses the intake negative pressure of an engine as driving source. CONSTITUTION:A pair of headrest guides 4 are vertically fixed onto the skelton frame 2 of a back seat 1, and a pair of pillars 5 installed onto the undersurface of the headrest 3 are installed in free projection and regression. The part between the lower projections of the both pillars 5 are connected by a connecting rod 6. A spring 7 is wound onto the outer periphery of the pillar 5 set between the guide 4 and the connecting rod 6, and the headrest 3 is urged downward. A bellows 8 is installed between the skelton frame and the connecting rod 6, and the headrest 3 is moved upward by contracting the bellows 8 by aspirating the inside air through a pipe 10 by the intake negative pressure in an intake manifold 9. Further, an electromagnetic valve 11 controlled according to the output of a height adjusting means is installed into the pipe 10.
