PURPOSE:To obtain a current mirror circuit having a high power voltage utilizing efficiency by providing the 5th transistor (TR) supplying the collector current to the base of an output TR and the 2nd TR. CONSTITUTION:Part of a current fed from a current source 6 is fed to a TR 8 so as to supply a sufficient base current to the base of TRs 2, 7. On the other hand, since the TRs 2, 7 are connected in a mirror, then both emitter current densities are equal, and when the emitter current of the TR 2 exceeds a prescribed multiple (emitter area ratio of TRs 2, 7) of the supply current from the current source 6, all the supply current from the current source 6 is absorbed by the TR 7. Finally, the supply current from the current source 6 is balanced with the absorbing current by the TR 7 and a current being (prescribed multiple +1) of the supply current from the current source 6 is fed to a load resistor 1.
