PURPOSE:To obtain the titled resin at low cost, by blending a graft rubber polymer latex with a thermoplastic polymer, an organic chemical and a water- soluble chemical, partially separating water and the organic chemical and further mixing the blend with a thermoplastic polymer in a molten state and separating the organic chemical of the rest. CONSTITUTION:(A) Latex of graft rubber polymer obtained by subjecting a vinyl monomer to graft polymerization onto rubber latex is blended with (B) a thermoplastic polymer, (C) an organic chemical (toluene, etc.), which can dissolve the component B and <=5wt% especially <=2wt% solubility in water at 25 deg.C, in an amount to give 0.1-6 times, especially 0.2-2 times as much as the total amounts of the components A and B by weight and (D) <=10wt%, especially <=3wt% water-soluble chemical (inorganic acid, etc.) capable of coagulating the component to give a mixture to two phases. An aqueous phase is separated from the mixture of the phase, the component C and remaining water are partially separated from the remaining organic layer by a thermal means and further the blend is mixed with a thermoplastic polymer (preferably the same polymer of that of the component B) in a molten state. Then the remaining component C is separated and removed to give the aimed resin.
