PURPOSE:To decrease the number of times of changing frequently the memory bank designation and to decrease the number of steps or the data processing time of a program by using one by one two types of addressing as the occasion demands. CONSTITUTION:The optional address of the memory bank designated by a memory bank selecting register 2 out of memory banks 0 to3 can be designated by the contents of an HL register. Consequently, by a memory bank selecting register 2, memory banks 1-3 are designated and the data processing is executed, and even then, by executing a DE register indirect addressing, a bank 0 is made into an area for work, and the indirect addressing operation of the memory bank 0 can be executed without changing the contents of the memory bank selecting register 2. Even when the transfer and comparison of the data of the sizable quantity to some extent are executed between the memory bank '0' and other memory bank, it is no necessary to execute the changing-over operation of the memory bank.
