PURPOSE:To obtain a transparent, crack-free and corrosion preventive film by applying a mixture of a metallic halide other than fluoride with an org. fluorine compound to a substrate and baking the mixture to form a metallic fluoride film by double decomposition. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of a metallic halide other than fluoride with an org. fluorine compound such as fluorocarboxylic acid is prepd. The mixture is applied to a substrate and baked to form a metallic fluoride film on the substrate by double decomposition. |
