PURPOSE:To improve reliability by detecting the stroke position of a piston using a pressure switch which is turned on and off by means of the conduction of a pressure fluid. CONSTITUTION:Detecting grooves 6, 12 are provided around a piston 1, detecting ports 5a, 5b, 11a, 11b are provided on a tube 3, and a supply source 8 of a pressure fluid is connected to the detecting ports 5a, 11a, while pressure switches 9, 13 are connected to the detecting ports 5b, 11b respectively. Thereby, the position of the piston 1 can be detected by the use of the pressure switches 9, 13, enabling a stable operation even under an environment of hard vibration, improving reliability.
