PURPOSE:To make a once prepd. solvent usable for a long period of time by measuring the eluate from a column with a detector then allowing the solute to be adsorbed in a cleaning up column, cleaning up the eluate and repeatedly using the same as the fresh eluting soln. CONSTITUTION:The eluate emitted from the analyzing column 3 is measured by the detector 1 for UV, etc. The solute is then adsorbed from the eluate in the cleaning up column 5 and the eluate is cleaned. The resulted eluate is made into the eluting soln. 6. The eluting soln. is again fed by a pump 4 into the column 3 for repeated use. This method is particularly suitable for analysis of a PTH-amino acid. Since the eluate from a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is cleaned up in the cleaning up column, the eluate is made reusable and the HPLC analysis is stably continued for a long period of time.
