PURPOSE:The titled composition that contains, as essential components, a specific triazine resin and an alkyd resin, thus being suitable for coating cars and electric appliances for domestic use. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains, as essential components, (A) 5-95wt% of a triazine resin which is prepared by co-condensation of (i) a triazineamino compound of the formula (X is H, methyl, ethyl, propyl, phenyl, amino), (ii) formaldehyde (iii) polyol, when needed, (iv) a monohydric alcohol, (B) 5-80wt% of an alkyd resin of less than 50% oil length and 50-500 hydroxyl value additionally, when needed, (C) 0-50wt% of amino-formaldehyde resin.
