Polyethylene blends are disclosed suitable for packaging and have two components, polyethylene or LLDPE and, as the second component, an ethylene butene-1 copolymer. A third component may be present in the blends, the third component being an elastomer. The ethylene butene-1 copolymer is prepared from a combination of 81 to 94 mole% ethylene and 19 to 6 mole % butene-1. |
