<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to satisfactorily control the discharge volume of a compressor without the pressure in a swash plate chamber being variable, by coupling a counter piston to each main piston in a swash plate type compressor so that the pressure acting upon the counter piston is regulated. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of pressure chambers 311 are formed on the outside of a housing 200 remote from a drive shaft 210, and a counter piston 300 is disposed slidably in each of the pressure chambers 311. This counter piston 300 is subjected to a controlled pressure from a pressure control means 330. Further, this pressure added to the differential pressure across the associated main pressure 202 by mans of the counter piston 300 so that the control pressure regulate the tilt angle of an angle regulating member 214 by means of a swash- plate 220.</p> |
