PURPOSE:To obtain excellent images which are stable for a long period by using ultraviolet-ray radiation setting type resin obtained by mixing fixed particles for the surface of a developer support member and irradiating it with ultraviolet rays, and forming a finely rugged surface layers on the surface of the developer support member. CONSTITUTION:A thin film of the ultraviolet-ray radiation setting type resin where fixed particles are dispersed is formed on the surface of the developer support member, i.e. a sleeve 2 and irradiated with ultraviolet rays to form the surface layer 7 which has the fine ruggedness on the surface of the sleeve 2. The fixed particles dispersed in the ultraviolet-ray radiation setting type resin use conductive particles preferably or contain conductive particles and particles for electrostatic charging control. Further, the fixed particles and ultraviolet ray radiation setting type resin having the opposite electrostatic charging polarity regard to a developer is preferable. |
