PURPOSE:To enable inspection according to a non-contact system, by a method wherein the relative shift of the axial center and center plane between a reference measuring position and an objective measuring position is calculated by operation and the bending of matter to be inspected along the longitudinal direction thereof is detected from the contrast operation result of the calculated shift. CONSTITUTION:A reference measuring position A is set to an entrance nozzle part 11 and, from the output data of a displacement sensor 3 at said position A, the cross- section center point O1 thereof is calculated and an imaginary center line C passing said center point O1 is set along the entire length area of a fuel aggregate 1. Next, a rinsing/falling driving mechanism 4 is operated to move a table 41 so as to raise the same and a displacement sensor 3 is positioned in opposed relation to the arbitrary measuring position in the trumpet pipe par 12 of the fuel aggregate 1. The cross-section center point and vertically divided twist center plane passing said center point at the objective measuring position calculated from the output data of said displacement sensor 3 are respectively compared to calculate the relative shift of the axial center and center plane between the reference measuring position and the objective measuring position by operation. By this method, a bending degree can be calculated according to a non-contact system.
