PURPOSE:To obtain a color photographic sensitive material superior in color reproductivity and improved in the light fastness of a magenta dye image by incorporating a specified magenta dye image-forming coupler and a specified dye image stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material contains the magenta coupler represented by formula I and the compound represented by formula A. In formulae I and (A), R is H or substituent; X is H or a group to be released by coupling; Cp is a coupling-blocking group to be allowed to produce a colorless alkali-soluble compound by the coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent; each of A and D is -N= or the like; R<1> is an aliphatic group or the like; B is -N= or the like; and Q is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form a piperazine or a homopiperazine ring together with the N atom. The magenta coupler of formula I is embodied by formula I-1, and the dye stabilizer of formula (A) is typified by formula A-1, and it is used, preferably, in an amount of 10-200wt% of the magenta coupler of formula I. |
