PURPOSE:To prevent the increase of manufacture cost by using an interface device provided with the 1st and 2nd information conversion means so as to attain data input/output between a controller main body and various programming equipments. CONSTITUTION:A programmable controller main body (PC) 100 and other programming equipment (PGT) 210 the same as an exclusive programming equipment are connected by an interface device 300, which is provided with a PC input/output port 21, a CPU 22, a memory circuit 23, a PGT side input/output port 24 and connection connectors 3, 25. The CPU 22 decodes an instruction from the PGT 210 and converts it into an instruction code for the exclusive programming equipment. Further, a display data is converted into the code form matched with the PGT 210 and displayed on a display section of the PGT 210 itself through the PGT input/output port 24 and the connector 25.
