PURPOSE:To prevent a condensation and deterioration of a precious metal catalyst even in a low load operation, by making the temperature of the reaction gas to feed to the cell main body in a low load operation lower than in a high load operation, in a gas temperature control system. CONSTITUTION:An electric signal from an output detector 11 furnished to a cell main body 1 through an electric signal circuit shown in a dotted line is fed to an arithmetic unit 13, where a set temperature signal is produced depending on a reaction gas inlet temperature pattern responding to a preset load, and given to a gas temperature control device 12 furnished at a cell inlet air line 7a to control the temperature. In a low load operation, the temperature of the inlet air is set to reduce to make the unit cell voltage lower (not to rise the voltage). Thus, by controlling the cell inlet reaction gas temperature, it is made possible to reduce the cell voltage in a low load operation. Therefore, the operation method of a fuel cell generation system to make it possible to prevent a condensation and deterioration of a precious metal catalyst in a low load operation can be realized. |
