<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the adverse effect onto a reel servo system by controlling the torque of a supply reel motor based on a signal obtained by subtracting a stored signal from an output signal of a tension detection circuit in the operation of tension feedback. CONSTITUTION:An output of a detection circuit 13 while a magnetic tape 1 is not wound on a tension sensor 11 is latched by an input port 10 and it is stored in a RAM 19 from a digital signal processor 17. The value stored in the RAM 19 is subtracted from the output of the tension detection circuit 13 as a temperature drift of the tension sensor 11 in the operation of the tension feedback executed by a succeeding digital signal processor 17. Then the temperature drift is corrected to correct the temperature drift of the pressure sensor. Thus, the adverse effect onto the reel servo system is prevented and the torque control of the reel motor with high accuracy and less in speed fluctuation or tension fluctuation is attained.</p> |
