PURPOSE:To run stably an unattended self-running truck by detecting a marker depending on the signal change from a marker front end detector and a marker tail end detector arranged in response to the length of the marker. CONSTITUTION:A steering wheel 3 is fitted to the front of the unattended self- running truck 1 and running wheels 5 are fitted to the rear part. A couple of running path detectors 15 having an interval in response to the width of the running path are fitted to the front of a holder 13 of the steering wheel 3 and an electrical signal is outputted based on the reflected light from the running path. Further, a couple of marker detectors having a distance in response to the length of the marker in the running direction are provided to the front part of a lower chassis 17. When the self-running truck 1 runs along the running path, after one marker detector detects the marker, the marker detector is transited in the state of marker non-detection state synchronously with the detection of the marker by the other marker detector. Thus, the self-running truck 1 is run stably while ensuring the detection of marker.
