发明名称 WEAK ABSORPTION SAMPLE MEASURING APPARATUS
摘要 PURPOSE:To measure the light transmission rate of an optical fiber in a wide wavelength range at a high accuracy, by dividing light from a light source into a reference light and a sample light to correct the sample light before the setting of the sample for signal processing. CONSTITUTION:Light selected by light analyzing means 2 is made light with a high parallelism using a concave mirror 3 of a long focus to produce a sample light and a reference light. Then, optical system 35-40 are used to set parallel lights with a long optical paths. Then, a correction plate 45 is inserted into the sample light side before the setting of the sample 43 and the current sample light shall be as such with zero absorption and compared with the reference light to correct surface reflection loss of the sample 43. An integrating sphere 46 as detection means detects most of released light from the end face of the sample. The sample light and the reference light are transmitted to a detector 47 alternately with a chipper 41 and separated 22 with a signal processing circuit 20 into DC component and AC component. These values are used to measure the absorption of the sample 43.
