发明名称 STEREOSCOPIC SPECTACLES
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain three-dimensional vision when looking at an object through a microscopic with a pair of spectacles, by setting a difference between the degrees of the right and left lenses of the spectacles (when one of the two lenses is a plane glass or only one lens is used for the spectacles, the degree of the lens is used as the difference) or between the sizes of the images made incident on eyes through the two lenses. CONSTITUTION:It becomes very important to improve the degree of stereoscopic vision. Originally, it was considered important to make the difference between the degrees of the two lenses of stereoscopic spectacles or between the sizes of images obtained through the spectacles smaller, but a recent experiment shows that the degree of stereoscopic vision can be increased as the difference becomes larger. The stereoscopic spectacles are combinations of convex and concave lenses or farsighted glasses. When one set of a convex and concave lenses is used for one frame of spectacles, the same results as those obtained when a plain glass is used can be obtained. Therefore, two pair of stereoscopic spectacles, one of which uses a convex lens of a degree of 0.25 for the right glass and a concave lens of a degree of 0.25 for the left lens and the other of which uses a convex and concave lenses of the same degree of 0.5 for the right and left glasses, respectively, are prepared and experimented. Results of the experiment are that the degree of stereoscopic vision increases without any adverse influence on the eye. Since the difference in degree of the lenses is essential, a pair of stereoscopic spectacles which do not give any adverse influence to the eyes can be realized, when lenses having degrees lower than the currently used lowest degree of 0.25, for example, about 0.01 and so on, are manufactured.
