The invention relates to hygienic pants for animals, particularly for bitches on heat, formed from a longitudinal absorbent strip covered on its outer face with an impermeable film, the said strip being fastened onto the animal's abdomen. These pants are characterised in that the means for fastening the strip consist of a strap, at least one of the ends of which comprises an adhesive part capable of being fastened to any point of the other end of the said strap, depending on the size of the animal, this strap being, moreover, connected to the two opposite transverse edges of the absorbent strip by other coupling means. <IMAGE>
