PURPOSE:To enlarge the size of the titled vaporizer by supporting a cylindrical rotor having recessed vaporizing surfaces on both sides with a hollow shaft, providing a liq. supply port and the discharge port to the vaporizing surfaces, furnishing a drain pipe which is not rotated in the rotating shaft, and connecting the hollow shaft to the vaporizer. CONSTITUTION:The rotor consists of two truncated conical bodies, and the respective recessed surfaces are used as a vaporizing surface 1. A liq. to be treated is supplied from the outside to the smallest-bore parts of the respective vaporizing surfaces 1 through a supply pipe 10 and a supply port 15. Although the concentrate is retained by a weir 4, the concentrate is collected in a discharge pipe on the outside of a vessel 30 and discharged, since a discharge port 13 is provided in the weir 4. A reinforcing plate 5 for transmitting turning effort perforated with holes for passing heating steam is inserted into the rotor between a jacket 2 and a shaft 3 and joined without narrowing the interval through which the branch pipe of the drain pipe 14 is passed. The component vaporized from the vaporizing surface 1 is discharged from the steam outlet pipe 16 furnished to the vessel 30, condensed, and then recovered. |
