PURPOSE:To make confirmation of an indication easy and sure by holding the state of indication in an indicator for a prescribed time to fix the indication after a weight value obtained by weighing turns stable and by conducting a control for breaking a power source after the indication is fixed. CONSTITUTION:When a person gets on a foot board, a signal voltage in accordance with his weight is delivered from a load cell 33 and a count data in accordance with the weight is delivered from an A/D converter 36 and read in a microprocessor 39. In the microprocessor 39 the count data from the A/D converter 36 is sampled at a prescribed timing and an average value of the count date numbering five indicated by M02-M06 is calculated and stored in MAVE. Then a computation of MAVE- MZER is conducted and thereby a true weight value is calculated and stored in MTRU. When the weight value is stored in MTRU in this way, a timer MT is re-set at this point of time.
