Luggage hold especially for public transport vehicles, formed between the axles of the vehicle, under the floor of the passenger transport compartment and consisting of a set of luggage-carrying modules 10, characterised in that the modules 10 consist of trolleys 22, 32 mounted slidingly with respect to a fixed chassis 12 carrying support means 18 and guidance means 28 for a mobile trolley 22, the latter being equipped with means 25 for supporting and means 29 for guiding another mobile trolley 32.
