MANUFACTURE OF SURFACE COATED STEEL PIPE HAVING SUPERIOR CORROSION RESISTANCE

PURPOSE:To manufacture a steel pipe having superior corrosion resistance at a low cost by making a coating layer on a steel pipe dense. CONSTITUTION:A single layer of a metal or ceramics or a composite layer is formed as an underlayer on one side or both sides of a steel pipe. A coating layer of hard solder-base metallic powder is then formed as a top layer and heat treated with arc, laser light or a flame.
