The invention relates to a dust, chips and sawdust ejecting device for a band saw. In order to obtain a permanent bearing of the ejection component 16 against the blade 4, this component is provided with magnetic means, such as a permanent magnet 26 at least one pole of which is directed towards the blade, and the support 17 is designed so as to only oppose a small or negligible resistance to the movements of the ejection component 16 perpendicular to the plane of the blade. The ejection component therefore remains in contact with the blade despite its wear and despite the movements of the blade, for example under the action of a pusher, however, it hardly exerts on the said blade any force which could cause it to deviate. <IMAGE>
