发明名称 PRODUCTION OF HEAT-RESISTANT ACRYLONITRILE YARN
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled yarn useful as electrically-conductive yarn, etc., having improved heat-resistance, goof flexibility and a little reduction in fiber function, by subjecting an acrylonitrile copolymer to melt spinning and oxidizing the prepared yarn in a liquid phase. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, an acrylonitrile copolymer consisting of 60-95wt% acrylonitrile and 40-5wt% another polymerizable monomer having 0.2-1 reduced viscosity is subjected to melt spinning preferably at 180-230 deg.C. Then, the prepared yarn is oxidized in a liquid phase by the use of combination of preferably an oxidizing agent such as potassium permanganate and sulfuric acid, etc., as agents for an oxidation treatment bath to give the aimed yarn. In this liquid phase oxidation condition, when the combination of potassium permanganate and sulfuric acid is used as the agents for the oxidation treatment bath, the concentration of the former is 0.1-3N, the concentration of the latter 0.1-5N and the temperature of the treatment solution is preferably 50-80 deg.C.
