<p>PURPOSE:To provide a pipe joint, which prevents fluid from being contaminated by a method wherein a connecting pipe part to be worked is cut off at the position apart from the root by the predetermined length and, after that, a thermoplastic resin blocking plate having a thickness nearly equal to said predetermined length is inserted in a newly formed pipe bore and fusion-welded and finally a female fitting thread is provided in the blocking plate. CONSTITUTION:A correcting pipe part 11 to be worked is cut off at the position apart from the root of the connecting pipe part 11 by the distance equal to the thickness of a blocking plate or at the cutting-plane line indicated with the one dot and dash line (a). The bore of the connecting pipe part 11 is heated by being inserted by the core part 41 or one end of a heated mold 4, by being inserted in the other end of which the outside surface of the hard vinylchloride resin blocking plate 5, which is supported by a supporting bar 51, is heated. Thus both the connecting pipe part 11 and the blocking plate 5 are heated so as to be fusion-welded with each other by inserting the blocking plate 5 supported by the supporting bar 51 in the connecting pipe part 11. Finally, after the supporting bar 51 is drawn off the blocking plate 5 and the pipe end is cut off at the position indicated with the one dot and dash line (b), a threaded hole 52 is bored at the hole left by pulling the supporting bar 51 out of the blocking plate 5 in order to obtain a desired joint for inspection.</p> |
