PURPOSE:The titled preparation that is prepared by adding a small amount of corticosteroid to ethylene salicylate and L-menthol, as active ingredients, thus sustaining anti-inflammatory analgesic effect to the subcutaneous site to which the preparation is applied for a relatively prolonged period of time. CONSTITUTION:2-100pts.wt. of ethylene salicylate, 0.02-5pts.wt. of cor ticosteroid such as dexamethasone, prednisolone, hydrocortisone or be tamethasone, 10-100pts.wt. of L-menthol and 1-20pts.wt. of tocoferol acetate, which intensifies anti-inflammatory effect by peripheral vasodilation are used to form an aerosol, solution and other perparations of anti-inflammatory analge sic for external use. Further, a solublizer such as ethanol may be added to the composition so that the viscosity is decreased to facilitate jetting and spread ing and the precipitation of components from the thick solution is prevented during low-temperature storage. |
