摘要 PURPOSE:To position an ultrasonic flaw detection sensor for a circularly sectioned material speedily even when the diameter of the circularly sectioned material varies by composing the ultrasonic flaw detection sensor of a rod- shaped housing, ultrasonic flaw detection units, and an adjusting member. CONSTITUTION:The sensor consists of the rod-shaped housing 10, 10 ultrasonic flaw detection units 20, and the adjusting member 30. The rod-shaped housing 10, ultrasonic flaw detection units 20, and adjusting member 30 are so adjusted as to irradiate an ultrasonic wave at a constant angle to a normal to the circularly sectioned material whose flaw is to be detected and which has a radius R; and the material WR having the radius R is run through its center hole 11H. A driving plate 31 is rotated by a specific quantity through the rotation of a worm 33 to irradiate the object material with the ultrasonic wave at a specific beam irradiation point at a specific beam angle.
