PURPOSE:To improve scenery by providing vegetation-planting work for slope by a method in which bearing plates are set on a step slope, and various base materials for vegetation-planting work are put on them and fixed to form a thick growth base for plants. CONSTITUTION:Lock bolts 2 are driven into slope 1 and concrete bearing plates 3 are attached to the exposed portion of the bolts 2, and fixed to the slope 1. Base materials 4 for fixing vegetation, e.g., metal nets, etc., are set in such a way as to expose or cover the bearing plates 3. A vegetation-planting base 6 composed of soil, seeds, fertilizer, etc., is sprayed onto the surface of the materials 4. A vegetation-planting subgrade having high stability and free of separation of soil blocks can thus be obtained, and the erosion of the surface soil can be prevented by controlling the flow rates of surface and ground waters.
