PURPOSE:To obtain the titled pigment with the coating liquid therefrom outstanding in fluidity, of high blister resistance and good printability such as ink acceptability, by incorporating a pigment with a low molecular weight amine- epihalohydrin resin in specified proportion followed by drying treatment to effect crosslinking on the pigment surface. CONSTITUTION:The objective pigment can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts. by wt., on a solid basis, of a pigment with (B) 0.01-5pts. by wt., of a low molecular weight amine-epihalohydrin resin with a viscosity of its aqueous solution of 10wt% concentration <=10cps measured using a Brook-field type viscometer (at 60rpm at 25 deg.C) (e.g. dimethylamine-epichlorohydrin resin) followed by drying treatment to effect crosslinking on the pigment surface.
