<p>A pump action shotgun including a main housing (12), a breech (48) having a main bore (20) and a sleeve (30) within the main bore. A barrel (14) has its rear end telescopically received within the sleeve (30), the barrel (14) being axially movable from a rear firing position in close proximity to the breech (48) to a forward loading position. The barrel (14) is connected to the sleeve (30) through a pin (114) and groove (120) arrangement so that axial movement of the barrel (14) causes rotational movement of the sleeve (30). The sleeve (30) being connected to the various mechanisms of the shot gun to operate these when it (the sleeve (30)) is rotated.</p> |
