In the case of an electrical supply and control circuit for a drive arrangement, which comprises a coil and a rocking armature, for an injection gun, it is proposed to connect a diode (which allows a current to flow through the rocking coil of the injection gun in only one direction) in the main circuit in series with the triac which produces supplementary phase-gating control, a short-circuit path being provided which bypasses this main current diode and is connected, preferably simultaneously, via a switch to optical display means which indicate the mode (full-wave mode/half-wave mode) in each case assumed by the injection gun. <IMAGE>
