The invention relates to a cabinet for documents and files which is preferably to be used in the office (manager's office). This cabinet is one in which there are no conventional swivel doors. Instead of these normal cabinet doors, triangular swivel elements are installed which are not annoyingly in the way in the opened state. The useful surface of the cabinet is exposed due to the fact that said swivel elements are swivelled to the left or to the right. The cabinet is also closed again in the same manner by swivelling the triangular elements. As shown in the attached drawing, sheet 3 of the application, the front of the cabinet can be quite smooth in the closed state. Since, however, the individual swivel elements also bulge outwards at an obtuse angle on one surface of the triangle, the appearance of the front of the cabinet can be designed at will. <IMAGE>
