Noxious fume ventilator of axial construction

An axial noxious fume ventilator is proposed whose axial impeller hub carries radial vanes on its rear side. The insulated motor chamber containing the drive motor is supplied at one end with external cooling air, which sweeps over the drive motor on the outside and is sucked out axially by the radial impeller at the other end. A hub sleeve section runs from the carrier disc axially in the opposite direction to the insulated housing and out over the radial outlet of the radial impeller. A guide wheel open radially on both sides, which is covered on the outside by an annular wall, sits on the radial impeller in a radial annular space between the hub and the front wall of the housing. The coolant air sweeps along the carrier disc, axially in the opposite direction along the internal side of the hub sleeve section, enters the radial annular space and through the guide vanes arrives at the annular wall and from there by diversion arrives at the radial external side of the hub sleeve.
