PRODUCTION OF STEEL PIPE FOR CLAD STEEL

摘要

PURPOSE:To manufacture the clad steel pipe having a sound seam part by performing a gouging along the welding seam after performing the electric seam welding of the seam edge part of a cylindrical clad blank pipe and by performing the build-up welding of the formed groove part with the seam kind of metal. CONSTITUTION:The seam edge part is subjected to an electric seam welding by forming the two layer strip plate which is composed of the base material 4 consisting of a low alloy steel and the clad material 5 consisting of a high alloy steel in a cylindrical clad blank pipe by feeding it continuously. The gouging is performed upto the clad interface part by a bead cutter 8 along the welding seam 7a... where the dissimilar metal of the inner face side metal of an electric seam welded pipe thus obtd. immersed. The groove part thus formed is subjected to a build-up welding by the same kind of build-up metal 9 with the metal at gouging side. In this way the clad steel pipe having no welding defect on the seam part 7a... and having sound seam is obtd.
