PURPOSE:To absorb dispersion errors in packaging a magnetic head by adopting such a cylinder that the radius of a guide cylinder winding a wrapping tape is smaller than that of a drum cylinder for the tape guide of VTR. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head 1 is attached integrally to a head base 3 at the edge part of a rotor 2 having a center O and is rotated at the predetermined speed by the rotor 2. While, a wrapping tape 4 winds through a guide pin 5 around a guide cylinder 6, abuts on the magnetic head 1 and grinds it. Here, the radius of the guide cylinder 6 is arranged to be smaller than that of a drum cylinder 8 for guiding VTR tape. As a result, when the magnetic head 1 is placed on VTR, the previously ground range is wider than that of the part to be touched by a magnetic tape, therefore, it is possible to absorb small dispersion errors caused in fixing the magnetic head 1 to VTR cylinder. |
