The invention proposes a tool for detaching a pipe connection between two pipes 6, 7 fitted into each other, the outer pipe 6 being provided in the region of the pipe connection with an opening, e.g. a slot 8. The tool has a spike 5, or a jaw, situated on a pressure device 1, and also at least one hook 9, 10 which is pivotably fixed thereto and is mounted in such a way that a counter-plate 12, situated at the hook end, can be brought into the position opposite the spike 5. The pressure device 1 can be realised as a threaded spindle, or a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder. <IMAGE>
