PURPOSE:To reduce the manufacturing cost by applying an adhesive containing zinc halide to a heat exchanger pipe and a fin and executing a heating junction, and also forming the sacrificial corrosion layer of metallic zinc on the inner and outer surfaces of the heat exchanger pipe and the surface of the fin. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger is formed by combining an Al made flat- shaped heat exchanger pipe 2 and an Al made corrugated fin 3, and also attaching a side plate, a header plate, etc. To a junction part of the heat exchanger pipe 2 and the fin 3, the adhesive containing zinc halide is applied, and heated to the temperature of about 40-550 deg.C. In this case, metallic zinc which is precipitated by the reaction of zinc chloride and Al joins firmly the pipe 2 and the fin 3. Also, the sacrificial corrosion layer 7 if formed on both inner and outer surfaces of the pipe 2 and the surface of the fin 3. According to this method, the junction of the heat exchanger pipe 2 and the fin 3, and a corrosion prevention treatment are executed by one process, and also the manufacture can be simplified. Accordingly, the manufacturing cost is reduced. |
