PURPOSE:To miniaturize the whole side of a flagpole driver as well as to reduce the cost of the driver by a method in which all operations are made by a rotary driver in such a way as to eliminate the needs for plural drivers. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal support plate 202 is set on the internal upside of a box 201, and a vertically movable drive threaded shaft 206 is provided. The shaft 206 is thrust through an elevator 203 and turned by a rotary driver 241 provided on the plate 202 to vertically move elevator 203. The supporter 242 of a flagpole 9 is provided on the periphery of a rotary shaft 241, and a mover 243 to move the flagpole 9 to below a holding claw 220 by rotation of the shaft 241 is also provided. The shaft 241 and the claw 220 are automatically turned and opened as the elevator moves vertically. Since all operations can be made through the elevator, the needs for plural drivers can be eliminated, and the size of the device can be reduced.
