PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive material superior in color separation effect and ideal in color absorption by incorporating at least >=2 couplers each for forming a different dye for each emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:For example, a red-sensitive emulsion layer contains a yellow dye-forming coupler and a magenta dye-forming coupler, a green-sensitive emulsion layer contains a cyan dye-forming coupler and a yellow dye-forming coupler, and a blue-sensitive emulsion layer contains a magenta dye-forming coupler and a yellow dye-forming coupler. The photosensitive material is exposed through a mask filter, processed with a color developing solution, bleach-fixed, and rinsed with water to form a color filter developed to B, G, R, and black colors. This filter has black stripes parts higher in optical density than the color filter parts, thus permitting a coupler selection range to be enlarged, different couplers to be used for each layer, and the microcolor filter improved in characteristics to be obtained. |
