A magnetic head for a valve or the like is proposed, a connecting part for an electrical apparatus plug being provided on the magnetic-head housing. The apparatus plug can be fixed on the connecting part of the housing by means of a threaded screw which engages with a threaded part in a female thread on the connecting part. A contact screw for an earth-conductor plug part which engages in the apparatus plug and braces the connecting part is provided at the bottom on the housing. For integrated electric-shock protection, the earth-conductor plug part and the female thread in the connecting part are connected to one another via an electrically conductive web.
