[Also in Divisions F2 and H2] In a motor-driven tooth brush, the stator magnets 12 have flats 50, 51 cemented to the sides 55, 56 of a channel section frame 22. The shaft 16 carries a flywheel 31 and a pinion 23 engaging a crown wheel 24 pivoted at 27<SP>1</SP> and having an eccentrically mounted pin 25 and bushing 26 which imparts longitudinal motion to connecting rod (not shown) coupled to the tooth brush. Further details of the motor are described (see Division H2). The frame 22 has lugs 68, 69 and a depression 67 engaging grooves in a tubular outer casing which also contains a battery. |
