PURPOSE:To obtain the copy pictures having high quality by using the set of a full-color image forming process and a black image forming process and providing a trimming means and combining them properly to form an image with an optimum image forming process. CONSTITUTION:The full-color image forming process using yellow, magenta, and cyan developing devices and the black image forming process using a black developing device are used as a set. The trimming means consisting of a ten key 11 is provided, and they are combined properly to form an image. In case of copying of an original with a picture part and a character part mixed, the position of the picture part or the character part on the original is designated by a trimming switch S1 and a position switch S2. If the position of the picture part is designated, full-color images are formed by a 3C switch S3, and the black image of the outside of this part is formed, and the toner images of 4 colors are transferred one over another on the same transfer paper. Thus, images are formed properly in accordance with the original to obtain copy pictures having the high quality.
