PURPOSE:A hair cosmetic, containing a phosphoric acid ester and a protein derivative and capable of imparting setting property to the hair without stickiness. CONSTITUTION:A hair cosmetic containing a phosphoric acid ester expressed by formula I (X is 1-8C straight-chain alkyl or glyceryl; Y is formula II or Z; R is H or methyl; Z is H, alkali metal, alkyl-substituted ammonium, etc.; n is 0-100) and a protein derivative, e.g. a polypeptide obtained by hydrolyzing collagen protein or an ester thereof. The use of the above-mentioned compounds expressed by formulas I and II in the above-mentioned hair cosmetic provides finish without stickiness and has effect on ready collection of the hair because of improved setting property thereof. The hair cosmetic is useful for various applications, including rinse and treatment. Both compounds are preferably used together at 95:5-5:95 weight ratio of the phosphoric acid ester to the protein derivative. |
